Patients & Visitors
Current Visitor Guidelines
Patients may have two (2) visitors. The visitors may come and go and switch out with other visitors.
Exceptions to this:
- Patients who are Covid-19 positive may not have visitors
- Visitors who are Covid-19 positive may not visit
- Does not apply to visitors in the NICU - only the parents of the NICU babies may visit
- Does not apply to patients coming in for lab work or imaging studies. However, space permitting, the person with them can wait in the front lobby.
All patients and visitors will still be screened for Covid-19 symptoms as they enter the hospital.
Due to rising Covid-19 infections that are occurring in the U.S. and per the guidance from the CDC, all staff, patients and visitors are still required to wear a mask in our hospital until further notice.
At Merit Health Woman's Hospital, we understand that coming to the hospital as a patient or as a loved one's support person can be a difficult, often overwhelming experience. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital stay or stopping by to see friends and family, knowing where to go and what to bring will help make your visit less stressful. To make your experience easier, we want to provide you with helpful information you may need to plan your visit, such as what to expect, parking instructions, transportation and more.
